Jonah Figueroa, LE, has been with skinfo since February of 2024. Originally from Chicago, Jonah’s career initially began as a music teacher, but he pivoted to healthcare after the Covid-19 pandemic began. Jonah entered the world of dermatology when he joined a busy dermatology office in Chicago in 2022 as a patient service representative.

Jonah graduated at the top of his class from the University of Aesthetics and Cosmetology in Downers Grove, Illinois, in June of 2023. Immediately after graduating from esthetics school, Jonah transitioned from the role of patient service representative to cosmetic medical assistant with a focus on lasers. During his time in the laser clinic, Jonah became familiar with various cosmetic treatments and modalities, like photorejuvenation, microneedling, laser resurfacing, neurotoxin injections, PRP, and tissue tightening. While working in the laser clinic, Jonah used his knowledge of skin care products to make recommendations to patients that would expedite their healing.

Jonah is very passionate about medical grade skincare and firmly believes that skincare and advanced cosmetic procedures are two sides of the same coin. He enjoys using his teaching background in consultations with his patients and happily educates them on products they may be interested in. Jonah has a special interest in understanding how product ingredients work and the roles they play in various cosmetic formulations. Jonah believes that skincare should be accessible to everyone and especially enjoys helping men starting their skincare journey to find what works best for them.

You can find Jonah at skinfo for all of your skincare needs. Along with holding his esthetics license, Jonah is also a Certified Medical Scribe and is a certified Colorescience Master. He has undergone additional training from Circadia University and is a Certified Aging Skin Specialist and a Certified Chemical Peel Specialist. Jonah is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists.

When he’s not at skinfo, Jonah enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling the world, singing in the car, baking, and reading.
